ctxstore.ai ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by PAAMT LLC, 204 West Havens Avenue #141, Mitchell, SD 57301. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the ctxstore.ai service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Email address (optional — only if you link an account for multi-device access).
• Usage data: Number of facts stored, queries made, API calls, timestamps of activity, and your plan tier.
• Stored content: Facts, contexts, and memories you store through the service. This content belongs to you.
• Billing information: Payment details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
• Technical data: IP address, client identifier, platform information (sent during provisioning), and session identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the ctxstore.ai service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• Enforce usage limits and manage your plan tier
• Send transactional emails (account setup, billing receipts) via Resend
• Prevent abuse and maintain service security
• Respond to support requests

We do not use your stored content (facts and memories) to train AI models, advertise to you, or share with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following third parties, strictly for service operation:

• Stripe (stripe.com) — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend (resend.com) — Transactional email delivery (verification codes, receipts).
• OVH US — Cloud infrastructure hosting (production). Data is stored on servers in the United States (Virginia). Staging environments use DigitalOcean (US).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS).
• Vector embeddings and facts are stored in Qdrant with tenant isolation — each account's data is logically separated.
• Database credentials and API keys are stored as environment secrets, not in code.
• Backups are encrypted and stored on the same infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or request deletion:

• Your stored facts and memories are deleted within 30 days.
• Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
• You can request immediate deletion by emailing info@ctxstore.ai.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of certain data processing

7. Cookies

ctxstore.ai uses minimal session-only cookies required for authentication flows. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. No cookie consent banner is required.
